A deputy sheriff attempted to pull over a 1993 Infinity for speeding and having no lights on around 1:14 this morning on Route 11. The vehicle pulled over, then took off at a high rate of speed. The deputy found the car crashed into some trees just off the road about two miles away.
Killed in the accident were two passengers, Thomas St. Saviour, 29, of Hiram and a 14-year-old boy of Baldwin.
The driver, Nicolas Sparrow, 20, of Casco, was taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston by Life Flight.
