The YWCA in Lewiston is offering swimming lessons for all ages six days a week this fall. Lessons include conditioning classes. Call 795-4050 to register or visit www.ywcamaine.org for a schedule. 

Fall lacrosse for boys and girls in grades 4-8 begins Sunday at Deering High’s Memorial Field. The program runs from 5 to 6 p.m. on Sundays through Oct. 31. This is a short-sided 4-on-4 format with on-field coaching. The cost is $108. Contact info@maineelitelacrosse.com for more information. 

The Boothbay Charities Classic golf tournament has team openings and limited individual spots available for this year’s event on Sept. 24-25. The tournament on Saturday morning includes a guaranteed pairing with a celebrity. Participants receive a goodie bag and a seat at the Friday night lobster bake and auction at the Railway Village.
