Visiting hours are to be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hollis Center Baptist Church. A 1 p.m. funeral service will immediately follow at the Hollis Center Baptist Church. Burial will be Tuesday 9 a.m. at the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Saco. Rev. Ron Sargent will officiate. ROGER E. THIBODEAU of Biddeford, died Tuesday in Biddeford. Visiting hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 3, 2010 at Hope Memorial Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford.
CARL F. WHELAN of Phoenix, Ariz. and formerly of Biddeford, died Wednesday in Phoenix, Ariz. Per Carl’s wishes there will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of his life on Sunday, Sept. 5 at 1 p.m. at the Fifties Pub in Biddeford. Donations in Carl’s memory may be made to the Maine Cancer Society.
