BRUNSWICK — Organizers of TEDxDirigo announced a final call for applications to attend the first TEDx conference in Maine on Sunday, Oct. 10.

The independently produced event, operated under license from TED, will be held at the Frontier Cafe, Cinema & Gallery in the Fort Andross Mill from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Fifteen local change-makers will speak on topics ranging from technology and the creative economy to education and philosophy.

The inaugural event is designed to be a catalyst for bringing change into the state, where new ideas are funded and supported. For more information contact Michael Gilroy at 725-522 or visit tedxdirigo.com.
