Army Pvt. David B. Butler has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. He is the son of April Butler of Gray and is a 2010 graduate of Poland Regional High School.
Army National Guard Pvt. Oryan R. Lahti has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. He is the son of Maayan Lahti of Hallowell and Michel Lahti of Yarmouth. Lahti graduated in 2007 from Hall-Dale High School, Farmingdale.
Army Pfc. Joseph R. Henningsen has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is the son of Edward and Susan Henningsen of South Portland and graduated in 2006 from South Portland High School.
Navy Seaman Apprentice Nicholas D. Bedell, son of Brenda Adams of Acton and Robert Bedell of Sanford, was recently promoted to his current rank at graduation from recruit training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Bedell received the early promotion for outstanding performance during training. He is a 2003 graduate of Wells High School.
