Citing high-stakes testing, rampant cheating, and stress-related illnesses, the film is a call to action to challenge the current assumptions on education in America.

Advance tickets are $10 and available online at rtnmerriconeag.eventbrite.com. A limited number of $15 tickets will be available at the door. To view the film’s trailer or read reviews, please visit racetonowhere.com.

Congratulations to Kevin Thibault, Greg Ferland, Myles Nuzzi, Abby Thurston, and Mollie Braley for making the cut for Jazz All-States. To conclude the sports season, a big congratulations are due to the Western Maine Conference All-Academic recipients. The following athletes maintained an average of 93 percent or above throughout six semesters: Meaghan Crowley, Julia Isaacson, Anna Whitaker, girls cross country; Sarah Howard, field hockey; Stella Keck, Brandon Pinette, Sean Ross, soccer; Katherine Harrington, Sarah Warnock, volleyball.
