GORHAM – Corteze Isaac scored 25 points to lead the University of Southern Maine men’s basketball team to an 86-74 victory Thursday night over the University of Maine at Farmington.

Otis Smith added 20 points and Mike Poulin scored 14 for the Huskies (6-2), who pulled away from the Beavers (1-5) with a 13-3 second-half run for a 53-43 lead with 14:13 left.

BOWDOIN 85, COLBY-SAWYER 72: Maximilian Staiger scored 19 points to lead Bowdoin (5-2) over the Chargers (3-4) at New London, N.H.

Will Hanley added 17 points with 13 rebounds for the Polar Bears, who shot 63 percent (17 of 27) in the second half to expand their 37-35 halftime lead.

HUSSON 68, BATES 66: Jay Uhrin hit the go-ahead jumper with 32 seconds to go and Josh Jones hit 1 of 2 free throws with 6.4 seconds left to seal a win for the Eagles (6-1) over the Bobcats (7-2) at Lewiston.

Alex Gallant had 19 points for Bates.
