AN ANNUAL HOLIDAY light display, organized by residents Stan and Melissa Norton, has raised $11,000 to help the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Maine grant the wish of a Scarborough boy. The Nortons, founders of Norton’s Lights, began the seasonal light show as a family competition five years ago. This year, the money raised will be used to grant the wish of 9-year-old Sam Cassellius, diagnosed with a life-threatening kidney disorder. His wish is to go on a Nickelodeon cruise with his parents and four siblings. The family will board the Norwegian Cruise Line ship Jewel for a trip to Florida and the Bahamas in February. For details, go to www.wish.org/help/fundraising/adopt or call Jim Christie at 236-3171.
