1/17 at 2:27 p.m. Harley J. Stanley, 28, of South Street, was arrested by Officer Thomas Gabbard on Murch and Pownal roads on a warrant.

1/21 at 7:05 p.m. Jon T. Signorelli, 43, of Chapel Street, was arrested by Officer Thomas Gabbard on Lower Flying Point Road on charges of assault and operating under the influence.

1/22 at 12:55 p.m. Steven Mattson, 19, of South Portland, was arrested by Detective Gino Bianchini on Main Street on a charge of theft.

Lights out

1/19 at 9:13 a.m. Police were contacted about damage to light poles in a private parking area. The damage was reported at about $200 and police report the damage may have been caused by a plow operator.

You snooze, you lose

1/20 at 12:05 a.m. Police noticed a vehicle parked in the back of a parking lot on Pownal Road. When police spoke with the people in the car, they said they had been to a meeting and then fell asleep in the car. Police told the vehicle occupants to move on.
