GORHAM – Kaylie DeMillo hit a 3-pointer with two-tenths of a second remaining to give the University of Southern Maine a 72-69 victory over Keene State in a Little East women’s basketball game Saturday.

Nicole Garland and Courtney Cochran each scored 18 points for the Huskies (13-6, 8-1 Little East, who won their eighth in a row. DeMillo finished with 13 points, four rebounds and five assists.

Courtney Cirillo paced the Owls (10-10, 3-6) with 24 points and 11 rebounds.

BATES 86, CONN. COLLEGE 59: Allie Beaulieu scored 15 of her 23 points in the first half as the Bobcats (16-5, 4-2 NESCAC) raced out to a 50-32 halftime lead and cruised past the Camels (7-13, 0-6) at Lewiston.

Jessie Igoe added 16 points, 10 rebounds and three blocked shots for the Bobcats, and Meredith Kelly chipped in with 15 points off the bench.

UNE 82, WNEC 50: Carrie Bunnell scored 23 points with five 3-pointers to lead the University of New England (13-6, 6-1 Commonwealth Coast) to a win over Western New England (10-8, 2-5) at Biddeford.

Kelly Paradis chipped in with 17 points for the Nor’easters, who have won seven of their last eight.

Ali Pessolano paced the Golden Bears with nine points.

BINGHAMTON 70, MAINE 43: Jackie Ward scored 20 points to lead the Bearcats (14-8, 7-2) past the Black Bears (3-18, 1-8) at Vestal, N.Y.

Ashleigh Roberts led the Black Bears with 14 points, and Shareka Maner pulled down 13 rebounds.

AMHERST 72, BOWDOIN 48: Jaci Daigneault had 16 points and 13 rebounds to lead the second-ranked Lord Jeffs (19-1, 5-0 NESCAC) past the Polar Bears (15-4, 2-3) at Amherst, Mass.

Katie Bergeron collected her 1,000th career point and finished with 12 points to lead the Polar Bears. Colleen Sweeney added 10 points and six rebounds.

ST. JOSEPH’S 85, ALBERTUS MAGNUS 57: Megan McDevitt had 18 points, five rebounds and five assists to help the Monks (12-6, 4-1 GNAC) down the Falcons (7-10, 1-5) at Standish, giving Coach Mike McDevitt his 350th win.

Allie Parent scored 14 points for St. Joseph’s, Abby Young had 13, and Danyelle Shufelt and Lindsay Moore each added 12.

COLBY 58, TRINITY 48: Jules Kowalski scored a career-high 26 points and pulled down 13 rebounds as the Mules (14-4, 3-2 NESCAC) built an 11-point halftime lead and held off the Bantams (12-7, 2-3) at Hartford, Conn.

NAVY PREP 87, SOUTHERN MAINE CC 66: Alisa Sweet had 20 points, and Christina Ricci added 18 points and eight rebounds as the Seawolves (10-12) lost at home.

MAINE 3, NEW HAMPSHIRE 2: Myriam Croussette scored on assists from Missy Denk and Danielle Ward to break a 2-2 tie with 2:36 left and lift the Black Bears (10-13-4, 4-9-2 Hockey East) to a win over the Wildcats (11-13, 4-10) at Durham, N.H.

AMHERST 3, COLBY 1: Ellen Swiontkowski had a goal and an assist to lead the Jeffs (12-4-2, 10-1-1 NESCAC) past the visiting Mules (7-12, 3-9).

Samantha Slotnick scored for Colby.

USM 3, CONN. COLLEGE 3: Jordan Lee stopped eight shots in overtime to help the Huskies (4-12-2) tie the Camels (9-8-1) at New London, Conn.

USM rallied to force overtime with two third-period goals by Courtney White, including the tying goal 8:53 into the period.

BOWDOIN 6, SACRED HEART 2: Kayte Holtz scored four times to lead the Polar Bears (10-5-2) past the Pioneers (7-16) at Brunswick.
