Scarborough police are asking for help identifying a man who robbed the Dunkin’ Donuts at 91 County Road last night.

The suspect, described as a white man in his 20s, walked into the Dunkin’ Donuts shortly after 8 p.m. Thursday, waited for customers to leave, then told the clerk he had a gun and demanded money.

After being handed an undisclosed amount of cash, the man ran toward Country Side Butchers.

The suspect was described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, 130 to 140 pounds, with blue eyes and light brown or blond eyebrows. He was wearing a red jacket with a white and dark stripe on the chest and elbow area; a light blue hoodie; a dark blue Maine Black Bears knit hat; blue jeans; and work boots.

Officials are asking anyone with information to call the Scarborough Police Detective Bureau at 883-6361 or the anonymous crime tip hotline at 730-4200, ext. 3093.
