Upcoming events in SAD 51 schools
March is Arts Alliance month for MSAD 51. Throughout the month, there are a variety of events for students, parents, and the greater community to attend in celebration of the arts.
On March 22 the Poetry Jam will be held at Greely Middle School, where young writers in grades K-5 will recite original poetry.
The Greely High School Drama Club will be perform its spring production, “Antigone,” on March 24-26 at the high school. Tickets will be available at the door.
Family Arts Night will be held at the midddle school on March 29 from 6 to 8 p.m., where student artists will display current work and student musicians and actors will perform.
Be sure to stop by 317 Main Street in Yarmouth between 12 and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, where artwork by students in Greely High School’s advanced art classes is currently on display through March 25.
The mission of the Arts Alliance is to celebrate and explore the arts in our community. We invite you to get into the spirit and join the festivities!
