BRUNSWICK — Katy Dissinger scored three goals to lead Bowdoin to a 15-5 victory over Endicott in a women’s lacrosse game on Tuesday afternoon.

Chelsea Albright, Katie Stewart and Carolyn Gorajek each added a pair of goals for the Polar Bears (2-0).

Stewart scored twice during a 3:21-span of the first half to help Bowdoin build a 4-0 lead.

The Polar Bears made it 8-2 with four straight goals against the Gulls (1-1), including two by Gorajek, just before halftime.

The Polar Bears used mutiple-goal rallies in the second half to go ahead 11-3 with 18:17 remaining and 15-4 with 1:17 left.

COLBY 18, SOUTHERN MAINE 3: Casey Thomas and Katie Griffin each scored three goals as the White Mules (2-0) handled the Huskies (0-2) at Memorial Field in Portland.

Sarah Lux, Catherine Kahl and Lindsey McKenna each chipped in a pair of goals for Colby, which led 10-1 at halftime.

Rosie Forster had two goals and Jackie Kelly also scored for Southern Maine.

USM keeper Samantha Kiesel made 17 saves. For Colby, Sarah Warnke and Michelle Burt combined for 5.

SOFTBALL

WORCESTER ST. 4, ST. JOSEPH’S 1: Hannah Everson pitched a one-hitter with seven strikeouts and Jamie Jacobs drove in two runs as the Lancers (5-1) defeated the Monks (3-1) at Fort Myers, Fla.

Alyssa Dunn homered for the Monks.

 

UNE 8, LASELL 2: Pinch hitter Stephanie Podolski hit a grand slam in the sixth inning and the Nor’easters (1-4) beat the Lasers (0-5) at Fort Myers, Fla.

Casey Brigham, Ashley Gott and Erin Grover reached on singles in the sixth before Podolski cleared the bases with her blast.

Gott and Grover each had a pair of hits and scored two runs for UNE, which also scored four runs in the first inning.

UNE 4, DELAWARE VALLEY 0: Amber Zablowsky pitched a five-hitter with six strikeouts to lead the Nor’easters (2-4) over the Aggies (1-2) at Fort Myers, Fla.

Ashley Gott hit a two-run double during a three-run third inning.

 

ST. JOSEPH’S 9, WASHINGTON COLLEGE 1: Emily Leverone had three hits, drove in three runs and scored twice for the Monks (3-0) against the Shoremen (3-6) at Fort Myers, Fla.

Leverone hit an RBI double in the first, a run-scoring single in the fifth and an RBI double in the sixth.

Alyssa Dunn drove in a run on both of her singles.

BASEBALL

KEENE ST. 10, ST. JOSEPH’S 9: Juan Bisono singled in the winning run in the top of the ninth and the Owls (4-2) held on for the win over the Monks (2-3) at Babson Park, Fla.

Mike Pratt hit three doubles and drove in two runs for St. Joseph’s. Pratt’s last five hits have been doubles.

The Monks scored single runs in the second, third and fourth innings to go ahead 6-3.

Tom Keneborus and Matt Consigli hit RBI singles and Sam Butts added a solo homer.
