BRUNSWICK — Florence A. Marino, 85, died April 22 at Mid Coast Senior Health Center.  

Born in Brunswick, July 28, 1925, a daughter of Ernest and Rose Ouellette Gagne, she was raised in Brunswick and attended St. Peter’s School in Lewiston.  

After she married Benito J. Marino they moved to New York and lived there for 27 years, until returning to Brunswick in 1976.  

She was a homemaker who lived a quiet and simple life.

She was predeceased by her devoted husband Ben, and three sisters, Cecile Merritt, Betty Crockett, and Germaine Wright.

Surviving are her daughter Sheila Longway of Brunswick; her granddaughter Sherri Milbourn and her husband Thomas of Brunswick; two great-grandsons, Kyle and Trevor Milbourn both of Brunswick; a sister, Claire Dubreil of Brunswick; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were held earlier this week.

Arrangements are by Stetson’s Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick.  

Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association-Maine Division, 80 Elm St., Portland, ME 04101.
