NEW FACES

Donovan Gray was named development director of Lucid Stage, a nonprofit arts agency. Gray has extensive experience in the arts and fundraising. He will work with the Lucid’s Board of Directors and Board of Advocates to generate individual, corporate and foundation support for operations and capital funding needs.

Amanda MacLeod joined ProEx Physical Therapy in Kittery as a bookkeeper and administrative assistant. MacLeod, of Kittery, has 16 years of administrative experience. Before joining the practice, she was a bookkeeper at Diversified Electrical Services in South Berwick.

Nancy Ferro has joined Direct Personnel, a division of Maine Staffing Group. Ferro has more than 12 years of staffing and recruiting industry experience. She was previously with Idexx Laboratories.

Jill E. LeMay was named director of the Kennebunk Free Library. LeMay has had a successful career in public education, including nine years as principal of the Mary C. Dondero School in Portsmouth, N.H.

Suzanne Hodgson was named an account coordinator at Perry & Banks Integrated Sales and Marketing in Portland. Hodgson, who joined the firm in 2010, was previously a news writer for the Kennebunk Post and the South Portland Sentry.

Patricia “Patsy” Aprile was named president and chief executive officer of H.D. Goodall Hospital in Sanford. Aprile, of York, joined the Goodall staff as vice president of operations in May 2005 and previously served as executive director at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, N.H.

Pamela J. Baker, associate dean of the faculty at Bates College, has accepted a two-year appointment as vice president for academic affairs and dean of the faculty, effective July 1. Baker is the college’s Helen A. Papaioanou Professor of Biological Sciences. She succeeds Jill N. Reich, who has been vice president and dean since 2000.

AWARDS and RECOGNITION

Jessica LeConte, a Norway Savings Bank customer service representative, was named 2010 Employee of the Year. LeConte was recognized for her commitment to the bank and for being a dependable, proactive high achiever. LeConte, who was hired more than three years ago, works at the bank’s main office in Norway.

Mary Hewett, vice president and employee development and training manager at Norway Savings Bank, received its President’s Award. In the past year, Hewett was instrumental in the rollout of the bank’s new retail deposit product line and project management process. She works at the bank’s location on Congress Street in Portland and at its operations center in Norway.
