PORTLAND — Louis DiStasio allowed three hits with eight strikeouts as Cheverus, the top-ranked team in Western Class A downed Kennebunk 10-0 in a five-inning Telegram League baseball game Tuesday.

Joey Royer had three hits, including a double, and drove in two runs, and Peter Potthoff had three RBI with two singles for Cheverus (6-1) against the Rams (1-6).

SOUTH PORTLAND 8, BONNY EAGLE 1: Paul Reny, who stole four bases, hit an RBI single and scored during a three-run third inning as the Red Riots (6-2) took command against the Scots (1-6) at Standish.

Andrew Richards scattered seven hits and struck out eight for South Portland.

Bonny Eagle scored on a single by Evan Amell to cut the deficit to 3-1 in the bottom of the third.

YARMOUTH 9, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 6: Luke Pierce had a strong game on the mound and at the plate for the Clippers (7-0) against the Patriots (3-5) at Yarmouth.

Pierce had a triple and a single to drive in a run, and also pitched two innings in relief, striking out two and allowing a run to earn a save.

Starting pitcher Chester Jacobs got the win, allowing three runs with two strikeouts over five innings.

Tim Larette had three hits for Gray-New Gloucester, including an RBI double.

WINDHAM 10, MASSABESIC 0: Kyle Williams and Cody Laberge each hit two-run doubles in a seven-run third inning as the Eagles (4-3) cruised past the Mustangs (0-7) in five innings at Windham.

Ben Noble and Cody Dube added two hits, an RBI and a run apiece for Windham.

Cody Frazier, Casey Nava and John Strandburg had the hits for Massabesic.

CAPE ELIZABETH 5, FALMOUTH 2: Will Leblond allowed two runs on five hits as the Capers (6-1) defeated the Yachtsmen (4-3) at Falmouth.

Leblond also drove in a run on a squeeze in the fourth inning after the Capers scored four in the third off errors.

Cam Brown went 3 for 4 with a run for Cape Elizabeth.

DEERING 22, NOBLE 5: The Rams (6-1) had a seven-run first inning and a 10-run fifth in a five-inning victory against the Knights (1-6) at North Berwick.

Sam Balzano went 3 for 3 with three runs, two walks, a stolen base and three RBI for Deering.

Jamie Ross of the Rams went 3 for 5 at the plate with a solo homer, three runs and three RBI.

WINTHROP 4, LISBON 2: A two-run double by Tyler Foster in the seventh inning was the difference as the Ramblers (2-3) defeated the Greyhounds (2-5) at Lisbon Falls.

Winthrop led 2-1 before Foster’s double. Travis Luce had an RBI triple in the fourth and later scored on an error. Tyler Reeve pitched a six-hitter, striking out 10.

Dalton Dunphy had two hits, including an RBI double, for Lisbon. Ryan Riordan struck out nine and gave up five hits in seven innings.

RANGELEY, FOREST HILLS SPLIT: Jordan Richard struck out 12 and gave up two hits to help the Lakers (2-3) down Forest Hills 10-0 in the opener at Rangeley.

Dylan McNally struck out 16 for Forest Hills (2-2) for an 11-0 victory in the second game.

YORK 14, LAKE REGION 2: Garrett Naimie had four goals and three assists to lead the Wildcats (4-1) past the Lakers (1-4) at Naples.

Dillon DellaPasqua and Shane Hughes added three goals and three assists apiece for York. T.J. Leach scored twice for Lake Region.

MASSABESIC 17, NOBLE 8: Jordan Levesque had six goals and four assists for the Mustangs (4-2) against the Knights (1-5) at North Berwick.

Patrick Wyman added four goals and four assists, and Stephen Chaves had three goals and an assist for Massabesic.

CAPE ELIZABETH 14, GREELY 8: Wilson Laprade had four goals and an assist, and Tim Lavallee added three goals and an assist to lead the Capers (5-1) past the Rangers (2-3) at Cumberland.

Cooper Allen and Austin Spencer scored three goals apiece for Greely.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 11, FREEPORT 8: T.J. Daigler scored four goals to lead the Panthers (3-3) over the Falcons (3-3) at Freeport.
