The Maine Bicentennial Award, a full, four-year scholarship to Phillips Andover Academy in Andover, Mass., was awarded to Ravn Jenkins, 14, a Brunswick Junior High School eighth-grader. The award will cover the cost of Jenkins’ tuition and board, estimated at $42,350 per year. Jenkins also received a new laptop as part of the award. She was selected for the honor based on academic excellence and leadership initiatives.
