NAPLES – Sam Kozlowski pitched a six-inning no-hitter and Pat Tyler hit a three-run double as Cape Elizabeth beat Lake Region 12-1 in a Western Maine Conference baseball game Monday.

Kozlowski struck out one and walked four. He was aided by left fielder Jack Barber’s diving catch on a sinking line drive.

Tyler’s double keyed a four-run fifth inning that made it 7-1. The Capers added five runs in the sixth to invoke the 10-run rule.

Cam Brown had a single, a triple and an RBI.

 

WESTBROOK 8, SOUTH PORTLAND 1: Scott Heath hit a bases-loaded triple and Zack Collett had a three-run double as the Blue Blazes (12-0) handled the Red Riots (9-4) at Westbrook.

Collett finished with three singles, a double and four RBI. Matt Weimer pitched a three-hitter.

 

WINDHAM 8, BIDDEFORD 1: Nick Burton hit a three-run homer and Drew Gagnon belted a two-run shot to power the Eagles (6-5) past the Tigers (7-5) at Biddeford.

Ben Noble pitched a three-hitter for Windham.

 

SANFORD 1, PORTLAND 0: Dan Reed scattered three hits and struck out three as the Redskins (1-11) shut out the Bulldogs (5-7) at Sanford.

Sean Smith led off the second inning with a single, advanced to third on a double by Ryan Camire and scored on Eric Colburn sacrifice fly.

Portland’s Ryan Dixon struck out five and allowed just four hits.

 

FREEPORT 17, YORK 13: Connor Dietrich and Josh Weirich each had three hits and four RBI to lead the Falcons (4-9) to a win over the Wildcats (6-6) at York.

Luke Lamagna also drove in four runs with a double and a home run for Freeport, which scored 12 runs in the first three innings and led 17-8 going into the seventh.

Tim Connolly went 3 for 5 with two RBI, and Chris Cole homered and drove in four runs for York.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 4, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 2: Ryan Cavallaro had an RBI double in the first inning and scored in the third to help the Patriots (7-6) defeat the Raiders (2-12) at Gray-New Gloucester.

Adam Healy surrendered a two-run homer to Brady Lloyd in the first inning but held Fryeburg scoreless the rest of the way.

 

WELLS 6, TRAIP ACADEMY 5: Cole Boston tied the game with an RBI single in the bottom of the seventh and Justin Lareau drew a walk with the bases loaded as the Warriors (8-4) rallied past the Rangers (7-7) at Wells.

Louie DiTomasso had a single and a two-run double for Wells.

Traip opened a 5-3 lead in the fifth inning with the help of a two-run single by Christian Montembeau and an RBI single by Brandon Metevier.

 

YARMOUTH 8, POLAND 4: Bryce Snyder doubled, stole a pair of bases, scored two runs and drove in one to lead the Clippers (11-2) past the Knights (3-11) at Poland.

 

LINCOLN ACADEMY 12, ROCKLAND 5: Brandon Reilly hit a grand slam and struck out 14 to propel the Eagles (8-2) over the Tigers (9-4) at Rockland.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 11, MT. VIEW 1: Isaac Greenrose had a double and a single, and four pitchers combined on a two-hitter as the Panthers (7-5) beat the Mustangs (1-12) at Thorndike.

CHEVERUS 11, BONNY EAGLE 5: Jimmy Talbott scored four goals to lead the Stags (4-5) over the Scots (0-8) at Standish.

Ryan Cannell had two goals for Bonny Eagle.

 

KENNEBUNK 14, WINDHAM 3: Sean Finn finished with three goals and two assists to lead the Rams (7-3) over the Eagles (3-7) at Windham.

MARSHWOOD 11, MASSABESIC 8: Jeff Hatheway scored four goals to lead the Hawks (6-3) over the Mustangs (4-6) at South Berwick.
