FALMOUTH – Caleb Fraser pitched a five-hitter, with seven strikeouts and two walks and Andrews Post broke a 1-1 tie with two runs in the fourth inning for a 3-1 victory over Falmouth in American Legion baseball on Thursday.
In the fourth, Kyle Reichert, who had two hits, singled in a run and Chip Weber drove in the other on a sacrifice fly.
Dillon Dresser pitched a five-hitter for Falmouth, striking out five and walking one. Andrews’ three runs were unearned.
Brett Emmertz had two hits for Falmouth.
STAPLES CROSSING 11, KENNEBUNK 6: Staples Crossing scored eight runs over their final two at-bats and beat Kennebunk at South Berwick.
Ian McAlister hit a two-run single during a six-run fifth that featured several walks.
NOVA SEAFOOD 5, MORRILL POST 4: Kyle Danielson singled over a drawn-in outfield to scored Matt Bevilaqua in the bottom of the eighth inning for Nova Seafood against Morrill Post at Deering High.
LIBBY-MITCHELL 12, MOODY’S COLLISION 10: Libby-Mitchell scored nine runs in the top of the seventh to overcome a 10-3 deficit against Moody’s Collision at Gorham.

LIBBY-MITCHELL 4, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 3: Joe Lancaster squeezed home Kevin Dryzga in the bottom of the seventh for Libby-Mitchell (1-1) against visiting Gray-New Gloucester at Scarborough High.
YORK/WELLS 7, SACO-BIDDEFORD SAVINGS 5: Chris Cole hit a grand slam and Sam Leal hit a two-run single as York/Wells-Post 56 scored six in the fifth to overcome a 5-0 deficit in an opener at York.
KENNEBUNK 6, BONNY EAGLE 1: Brandon Guevin allowed three hits, walked none and struck out 11 in a complete game to lead Kennebunk (2-0) past visiting Bonny Eagle (0-1).
John Burns’ two-run double keyed a five-run third for Kennebunk.
