BAR HARBOR — A Bar Harbor ice cream shop that served cones to President Obama and his family last summer was named one of the top 25 ice cream spots in the country.
Food and Wine Magazine named the MDI Ice Cream shop on Bar Harbor’s Main Street to its list, which it released this past week on its website.
Founder and owner Linda Parker tells the Bangor Daily News that she’s honored and humbled to be included on the list.
The shop’s signature flavor is Jack Daniels ice cream, but the president ordered coconut when he paid a visit.
