On behalf of the Falmouth Memorial Library board of trustees, I would like to thank the residents of Falmouth for the encouragement they have given us during our efforts to find more space. One of the most rewarding elements of this whole process has been meeting people of all ages and hearing their support for the library. We have been motivated and inspired by interactions with our members during the past 18 months, and for that we are deeply grateful.
The trustees are still committed to acquiring more space for the library. In our search for a larger facility, we would like to continue our dialog with the community. We invite anyone interested to attend our monthly board meetings, held on the first Monday of every month in the Russell Room at the library at 7 p.m. If you are unable to attend the meetings, you are welcome to email the board at falmouthlibrarytrustees@falmouth.lib.me.us. We would love to hear from you.
