Lupo, UMaine’s Leisenheimer lead Mainers to 10-3 victory over Raging Tide in Sanford
Jack Lupo knocked in two runs on three hits and stole a pair of bases while University of Maine junior Justin Leisenheimer knocked in two runs on two hits to lead the Sanford Mainers (18-17) to a 10-3 win over the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (7-31) in a New England Collegiate Baseball League game Monday night in Sanford.
Vincent DePierro (3-2) gave up all three runs on five hits and finished with 11 strikeouts over six innings for the Mainers.
Marcus Way, Tim Quinn and Thomas Bourdon knocked in one run each for the Raging Tide.
