LIVERMORE FALLS — Maine state fire investigators charged two teens with trespassing at a vacant house that caught fire.
Sgt. Joel Davis from the state fire marshal’s office told the Sun Journal the teens were charged Thursday. He says they were in the house in Livermore Falls and knocked over a drop light that ignited the blaze.
Davis says the cause of the fire is arson. He says a report will be submitted to the District Attorney’s Office to determine if further charges will be brought against the juveniles, whose names were not released.
The house had minor damage.
