PORTLAND — The Portland Sea Dogs completed a forgettable home stand this afternoon with a 9-3 loss to the Harrisburg Senators at Hadlock Field.

The Sea Dogs (53-77) lost all six home games, which extended their losing streak to a season-long seven games.

Harrisburg only out-hit Portland 12-10, but the Sea Dogs could not come through in the clutch, leaving 13 runners on base.

Jeff Howell and Ryan Dent homered for Portland.

Sea Dogs starter Jeremy Kehrt gave up three runs over 5 2/3 innings, but newly promoted reliever Chris Martin was hit hard, allowing six runs over 1 1/3 innings.

The Sea Dogs leave Monday for an eight-game road trip in Pennsylvania. They return to Hadlock Sept. 2-5 for the final four games of the season.
