The ABA Charity Golf Tournament, to benefit the Cancer Community Center, will be held Sept. 11 at Point Sebago in Casco. The tournament is held in memory of Pierina Axelsen. The scramble tournament begins with registration from 8 to 8:30 a.m.. Entry fee is $400 per team. Sanford Parks and Recreation is putting together a men’s flag football league. Games will be held on Sunday mornings from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. starting the weekend of Sept. 11. Rules, and registration forms are available at the recreation office located at the Sanford Town Hall. The entry fee is $300 per team and the registration deadline is Sept. 5 at 5 p.m. For more information contact the Sanford Rec Department at 324-9130.
