Former Maine Gov. Angus King will be giving a talk about his book “Governor’s Travels: How I Left Politics, Learned to Back Up a Bus, and Found America” (Down East). The book details the six-month, cross-country trip in an RV that King and his family took shortly after he left office in 2003. Longfellow Books in Portland is a co-sponsor, and will be selling King’s books at the event.
