FREEPORT — Margaret Winship, 75, died Sept. 28 at Hawthorne House.
Born in Bridgeton on May 26, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (Smith) Bressette and attended Bridgeton and Oxford schools.
On Aug. 8, 1952, she married Russell Winship.
She was predeceased by six brothers and six sisters.
Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Russell Winship of Freeport; her son, Mike Winship of Freeport, and her daughter, Sharon Orchard of Lewiston; her brother, Robert Bressette of Poland; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, at Craigie Cemetery, Pismo Beach Road, Oxford.
