Mary Elizabeth Derby, 81, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011 at Evergreen Manor in Saco. A graveside committal service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7 at Mount Hope Cemetery, Winthrop Street, Augusta. A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30 in the Pines Community Building, 10 Manor St., Ocean Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Pines, P.O. Joan A. Walker, 74, of Lyman, passed away following a brief illness on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011 at the Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford. Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main St., Springvale. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
