OLD ORCHARD BEACH – Southern Maine Community College split a pair of baseball games Saturday at the NECA Fall Classic, defeating Vermont Technical Institute 10-6 before losing 1-0 to the University of New Hampshire in the championship game at The Ballpark.
Michael Vadnais drove in three runs and Adam Begos knocked in two for the Seawolves in the first game.
In the final, Vadnais pitched a four-hitter and UNH’s run was unearned.
