John Battis, 73, of Springvale and formerly of Newburyport, Mass., passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011 at Goodall Hospital in Sanford. At John’s request services will be private. Richard M. “Tex” St. Ours, 76, a lifetime resident of Biddeford, passed away at Southern Maine Medical Center on Oct. 26, 2011.
