WESTBROOK – Police have released a more detailed description of the suspect in the Subway shop robbery.

They say they are looking for a white man, about 5-foot-8, 140 to 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Police said the man had a gray mask covering his face and was wearing a dark blue hooded sweat shirt and dark blue sweat pants with white stripes down the side and paint on the right leg.

Police are asking anyone with information to call 854-0644 or the department’s anonymous tip line at 591-8117.

 

WESTBROOK – A Subway sandwich shop was robbed tonight by a man with a gun, police said.

The robbery occurred at the Subway store at 390 Bridgton Road, police said. A white man, wearing dark clothes, showed store clerks a gun and demanded money.

He then ran from the store with an undetermined amount of cash, police said. No one was injured.

The robbery took place about 7:45 p.m., according to police.
