The Maine Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting Tuesday at Woolwich Town Hall to discuss replacement or removal of the Dana Mill Bridge, which carries Dana’s Mill Road over Nequasset Brook.
Representatives of the MDOT will field concerns and comments, then answer questions about the project, according to a release.
“The department is particularly interested in learning local views relative to project consistency with local comprehensive plans, discovering local resources and identifying local concerns and issues,” the release states.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at Woolwich Town Hall, 13 Nequasset Road.
For more information about the project, contact MDOT Project Manager Mark Parlin at 624-3449 or by email at [email protected].

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
