Navy Lt. Cmdr. Matthew T. Griffin has graduated as a distinguished graduate at the College of Naval Warfare in Newport, R.I. Qualified students earned a master of arts degree in National Security and Strategic Studies. Griffin is the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Griffin of Yarmouth. He graduated from Stearns High School, Millinocket, and received a bachelor’s degree from St. Leo University in Florida. He has served in the military for 23 years.

Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Kyle J. Redimarker, son of Diane Moore of Berwick and Jay Redimarker of Eliot, recently graduated from the Aviation Logistics Tactical Information Systems Course with Marine Corps Detachment Newport, R.I., and was also promoted to his current rank. He is a 2006 graduate of Noble High School of North Berwick, and joined the Marine Corps in October 2010.

Marine Corps Pvt. Jacob B. Robinson, son of Tina and stepson of Bob Curley of Cape Neddick, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C.

Army Cadet Joseph R. Lanham has graduated from the Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) Leader Development and Assessment Course, also known as “Operation Warrior Forge,” at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Tacoma, Wash. Lanham is the son of John and Nadine Lanham of Casco and attends University of Southern Maine, Portland.
