BIDDEFORD – James Jamieson scored a power-play goal with 8:28 remaining in regulation to give Biddeford a 3-3 draw against Greely in a boys’ hockey game Monday night at Biddeford Ice Arena.

Mitchel Donovan had a goal and two assists to help Greely (2-0-1) take a 3-1 first-period lead. Kyle Megathlin and Pete Stauber also scored for the Rangers.

Biddeford (2-1-1) got a goal in the first period from Nate Crepeau and one in the second from Tyson Nadeau.

Kyle Kramlich made 37 saves for Greely. Jon Fields had 35 saves for Biddeford.

YARMOUTH 1, YORK 1: Derek Neal of York (2-0-2) and Marshall Brunelle of Yarmouth (0-2-1) scored in the final three minutes in a draw at Dover, N.H.

Neal scored for the Wildcats with 2:24 to play, but Brunelle pulled the Clippers even with a power-play goal 38 seconds later.

Red DeSmith stopped 29 shots for Yarmouth. Jared Posternak had 24 saves for York.

MARSHWOOD/TRAIP 10, MASSABESIC/OLD ORCHARD BEACH 2: Peter Lajeunesse had two goals and two assists, and Ryan Tobey added two goals and one assist to pace the Hawks (4-0) to a win over the Mustangs (1-3) at Saco.

Corey Wright, Jacob Cagnina and Andrew Hale each added a goal and an assist.

Aaron Gass had a goal and an assist for the Mustangs.

GIRLS’ HOCKEY

YARMOUTH/FREEPORT 8, ST. DOM’S 0: Katie Brown had two goals and an assist and Emily Johnson also scored twice to lead the Clippers (2-4) past the Saints (1-6) at Yarmouth.

Hope Saulter chipped in three assists and freshman Hannah Williams made 10 saves for her first shutout.

Michelle Robichaud and Suzanne Driscoll each had a goal and an assist.

CHEVERUS 7, GORHAM/BONNY EAGLE 1: Katie Roy had three goals and two assists, and Allie Spinney added two goals and two assists as the Stags beat the Rams at the Cumberland County Civic Center.

Paige Severance and Sarah LaQuerre also scored for Cheverus. Victoria Richards had the only goal for Gorham/Bonny Eagle.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

KENNEBUNK 49, GOR-HAM 46: Chris Hynes scored eight of his nine points in the fourth quarter to help give Kennebunk (2-2) the edge at Gorham (0-4).

Nate Gilbert scored 18 points and David Kerschensteiner added 10 for Kennebunk.

Carter Bowers scored 13 of his 20 points in the second half to help Gorham rally and take a fourth-quarter lead.

 

NYA 46, PINE TREE ACADEMY 33: Asad Dahia scored 11 points, and Ben Randall and Josiah Henderson added six points apiece to lead the Panthers (2-4) over the Breakers (0-4) at Yarmouth.

Zach Wilday paced Pine Tree Academy with 14 points. Nathan Verrill added 12.

GORHAM 48, KENNEBUNK 33: Lexi Merrifield scored 11 of her 13 points in the first quarter as Gorham (1-3) bolted to a 21-8 lead at Kennebunk.

Kristin Ross led Gorham with 14 points.

 

NYA 49, PINE TREE ACADEMY 38: Charlotte Esancy finished with 17 points, 10 rebounds, nine steals and five blocked shots, and Chloe Leishman and Morgan Scully each added 12 points to lead the Panthers (2-3) past the Breakers (1-3) at Freeport.

Gentille Sandy paced Pine Tree Academy with 21 points.

HALL-DALE 42, BOOTHBAY 37: The Bulldogs (4-0) got key plays in overtime from Allison Crockett and Carylanne Wolfington to beat the Seahawks (2-2) at Boothbay Harbor.

Crockett’s only hoop of the night, a putback, tied the score. Wolfington grabbed an offensive rebound after a missed free throw to set up another basket, and later stole the ball and laid it in to seal the victory.

Wolfington finished with 27 points. Meghan Smith led Boothbay with 14 points, and Sarah Caron scored 10.
