About 100 people gathered for the Vigil Of Hope For Ayla Reynolds Wednesday evening in Waterville at the First Congregational Church.
The minister of the church, the Rev. David Anderman, said the candles were lit as a sign of hope.
The event was organized by The Mainely Moms & Dads.
