HOLLIS — Maine law enforcement authorities are investigating at least three fatal crashes.

The three accidents Wednesday happened during a day of light snow and freezing rain, but investigators did not immediately blame weather conditions.

The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Department says 71-year-old Ralph Walker of Greene died in a crash on Allen Pond Road about 12:20 p.m.

Police say 51-year-old Michael Connolly of Freeport died in a single-car crash on Pinkham Brook Road in Durham at about 10 a.m. A medical condition may have been the cause.

The York County Sheriff’s Office says Tanya Hart of Limington was in Hollis when her car left the roadway and hit a truck parked on the side of the road at about 10:30 a.m.

All three remain under investigation.
