WASHINGTON — Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, says she has won a commitment from the Obama administration to keep open a Department of Agriculture lab at the University of Maine in Orono. Jonathan Riskind, MaineToday Media’s Washington bureau chief, has details in today’s Maine on the Hill blog.

Attorney General William Schneider says the breach resulted in unauthorized access to customer names, account numbers and contact information.
