BATH — The Morse High School jayvee girls basketball team jumped out to a 17- 6 first-quarter lead en route to a 46-34 victory over Mt. View recently.
The Shipbuilders, who improved to 4- 3, extended their lead to 30-12 at the half and led 37-21 through three quarters.
Jacelyn McNeill and Leia Graves both had nine points to lead the Morse offense, while Kate Dube chipped in eight points. The Shipbuilders were 16 of 21 from the line.
Mt. View received eight points from Stephanie Stilkey and finished four of 15 from the charity stripe.
