Joseph Cecil Brissette, of Springvale, passed away at his home in the care of his loving wife, Carolyn (Sirisky) on Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, one month shy of 92 years. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Thérèse of Lisieux Parish, Notre Dame Church in Springvale. Burial with military honors will follow at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Springvale. Gary D. Sullivan, 66, of Sanford, died on Jan. 8, 2012, following a long and valiant battle against amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
