
She was born Jan. 24, 1926, in Chattanooga, Tenn., the daughter of Marvin and Lillian (Wirth) Massey.
Meg loved gardening, her family and God.
She is survived by three daughters, Judith Jipson and Eric of Lowell, Mary Condon of Brewer and Peggy Hinman and Dave of Brunswick; a stepson, Roy Jipson of Washington state; a sister, Marilyn Carter and Jack of Florida; four grandchildren, Charles Jipson and Crystal, Eric Jipson II and Rikki, Andy Condon, and Heather Hinman and Roger; five great- grandchildren, Eric Jipson III, Kirstin Jipson, Elizabeth Jipson and Hannah Hallock and Kennedy; and best friend, Mary Catherine Jackson of Tennessee. She was predeceased by her first husband, Richard Hinman; and her second husband, Orris Jipson.
