WALES — Morse outscored Oak Hill 23-7 in the second quarter en route to a 60-35 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B victory over the Raiders on Thursday in boys high school basketball action.

The Shipbuilders, who improved to 4-9 and play host to Oceanside on Saturday at 1 p.m., led 12-6 after a quarter, 35- 13 at the half and 47-27 through 24 minutes.

Matt Munster had 17 tough points inside to pace Morse, while Ted Cole nailed three 3- pointers and finished with 15. D’Vaughn Myers added nine points and six assists.

Parker Asselin had 17 points and Sam Morin nine for winless Oak Hill (0-14).

ST. DOM’S 47

Tom Applegate scored 15 points and Joe Bryant added 13 as St. Dom’s (7-8) rolled to a Mountain Valley Conference victory over 1- 14 Lisbon at Auburn.

The Saints had quarter leads of 17-8, 27-12 and 37-21.

Mason Haley led Lisbon with nine points, with Mason Smith, Kendal Roy and Tucker Brannon adding four points apiece.

Lisbon was 11 of 12 at the line, while St. Dom’s was seven of nine.

The host Eagles scored two goals in all three periods in an Eastern A victory at Sidney J. Watson Arena.

Zach Pratt had two goals, with Eric Stuckey, Allan Leech, Evan Tome and Justin Grant chipping in a goal each for 4- 5 Mt. Ararat/ Lisbon, which hosts Maranacook/ Hall-Dale/Winthrop on Saturday at 6:15 p.m.

Zach O’Connor was solid early, making several saves and finished with 25 stops.

Caleb Bridgham, Ryan Davaia and Evan Daggs had a goal each for 2-7-2 Gray-New Gloucester/Poland.
