GORHAM — The Western Maine Conference held a high school indoor track meet, with Freeport and Lisbon taking part.

The lone scorer for the Greyhounds was Quincy Thompson, who finished second in the junior 55 in 7.27 and third in the junior 200 in 25.94.

For the Freeport boys, Taylor Saucier was first in the senior 400 (55.40), while Victor Skorapa took the top spot in the two mile (11:56.54).

Other scorers for the Falcon boys were Harrison Stivers ( third, 800, 2: 13.42; third, one mile, 4:54.74), Zac Strozewski ( second, junior high jump, 4-10), Zach Greene ( second, senior 200, 24.91), Thomas Dodge (fourth, senior high jump, 5- 04), Jared Knighton (fifth, long jump, 15- 09), Mark Donahue (sixth, one mile, 5:11.39) and Alex Campbell ( sixth, triple jump, 28- 10.50).

Also, the Freeport senior boys4x200relayteamfinished third in 1:41.24.

For the Falcon girls, the junior4x200relaysquadhad the top finish, taking second in 2:06.85.

Individually, Lexi Dietrich was third in the junior shot put (22-01.25) and fourth in the triple jump ( 27- 06.50), Ciera Wentworth third in the two-mile run (12:55.24), Emily Morang fourth in both the junior 200 (30.63) and junior 400 (1:11.11), Alyssa Richardson fourth in the 800 (2:38.81) and Margo Ruby sixth in the junior 55 (8.56).

Greely won the girls competition with 267 points, easily outdistancing Fryeburg Academy, which finished with 106 points. Rounding out the field was Cape Elizabeth ( 77 points), Lake Region ( 57), North Yarmouth Academy (46), Wells (41) and Freeport (38).

Greely also captured the boys meet with 156 points, edging past runner-up Cape Elizabeth (119). Fryeburg (84) was third, Wells (71) fourth and Freeport (62) fifth. NYA was sixth with 54 points, with Lake Region (44) and Lisbon (14) competing.
