WOOLWICH — “Basic Tool Selection for Women,” a four-hour workshop by Blueberry Beeton, will be offered Saturday at Shelter Institute.

Beeton will discuss what hand tools and power tools to look for and how to evaluate them based on use, budget and fit for a woman’s frame, according to a release.

“She’ll list the tools everyone should have on hand regardless of where one falls in the spectrum of house building, renovating, maintaining or woodworking,” the release states.

The workshop will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Shelter Institute, located at 873 Route 1 in Woolwich. Tuition costs $45 per person.
