Brunswick’s Jared Jensen, a 2011 champion at 130, captured the 152-pound title with a 7-0 decision over Cony’s Thon Itthipalakorn. Jensen improved to 40-0 in MPA action and earned all 26 of Brunswick’s points.

“He had a great day,” said father Erick Jensen, the Mt. Ararat coach. “He was named Outstanding Wrestler, which was a nice honor. Hopefully, we’ll have all of our guys back for the regionals and be at full strength.”

Stevens improved to 39-2 in MPA with a 3-2 win over Calan Bragg of Camden Hills. “He wrestled very smart,” said Morse coach Shawn Guest. “They wrestled last week and it went to four overtimes. Gary didn’t make any mistakes this time.”
