KENTS HILL — The Mt. Ararat/ Lisbon boys high school hockey team spotted Maranacook/Hall- Dale/Winthrop a 2-0 first-period lead, eventually falling 3-2 at the Rist and Joy Bonnefond Ice Arena on Tuesday.
Eagles netminder Zach O’Connor kept his team in it, turning aside 42 shots. Justin Grant and Jeremy Williams scored one goal each, with Eric Stuckey dishing out a pair of assists. Grant also picked up a helper.
“They are a good team, so I was happy with how we played and created chances at the end of the game,” said Mt. Ararat/ Lisbon coach Mike Bishop, whose team is 5-9-1 and visits Bridgton Academy on Saturday against Lake Region (4 p.m.).
Logan McGuire had a good game on defense for the Eagles, while Grant created several scoring opportunities.
