SOMERSWORTH, N.H. — Officials investigating the disappearance of money from a local New Hampshire housing authority say the amount determined to be missing is continuing to go up.

In December officials confronted the former fiscal director of the Somersworth Housing Authority, Lisa Reid, after it was determined $100,000 was missing. The next day, the 42-year-old Reid committed suicide.

WMUR-TV says Somersworth police now say almost $900,000 in missing funds have been identified from three more accounts and investigators believe more funds are missing.
