Gray-New Gloucester High has named Jim Hersom and Brad Smith as its head coaches in football and baseball respectively.
Hersom, 53, previously served as a head coach at Brunswick, Livermore Falls and Edward Little high schools. He has been a volunteer assistant at Leavitt High in Turner.
Smith, 63, was the Bridgton Academy athletic director for 19 years. He previously coached high school baseball in Massachusetts and Oklahoma.
