Laura Elizabeth (Harmon) Ekengren, 92, of Cromwell, Conn., wife of the late Ernest A. Ekengren, passed away on Saturday, March 24 at Pilgrim Manor. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 29 at 10 a.m. at St. John Church, 5 St. John Court, Cromwell, Conn. Interment will be on Friday, March 30 at 1 p.m. in Woodlawn Cemetery in Biddeford. There will be no calling hours, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Laura’s memory to North Shore Medical Center, Salem Hospital, 81 Highland Ave., Salem, MA 01970. Pauline Roy, 94, of Biddeford, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2012, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.
