Thank you for putting the picture and caption of fourth grade students working with Chewonki in The Times Record (March 8).
We want to thank the Phippsburg Land Trust for giving several classes the opportunity to participate in Chewonki presentations.
Our fourth grade class had fun working as a team to build a pilot whale skeleton. Chewonki helped us enhance our ocean learning by teaching us more about ocean animal adaptations.
We also learned about carnivores, pinnipeds, omnivores and herbivores.

A big thank you, again, to the Phippsburg Land Trust for enhancing science education!
