SOUTH PORTLAND — A panel discussion, “A rabbi, a priest and a minister … How People of Faith Support Marriage Equality,” will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Congregation Bet Ha’am, 81 Westbrook St.

The discussion is sponsored by Religious Coalition Against Discrimination and Integrity Maine.

Panelists include Rabbi Carolyn Braun of Temple Beth El; the Rev. Ben Shambaugh, dean of Cathedral Church of St. Luke (Episcopal); and the Rev. Don Rudalevige, a retired district superintendent of the United Methodist Church. Host Rabbi Jared Saks will serve as moderator.

Two rabbis, an Episcopal priest and a Methodist minister tell how their faith tradition brings them to support marriage licenses for gay and lesbian couples, according to a news release. A Q&A session follows. There’ll be light refreshments and informal conversations.
